ITB Berlin 2026 Syria

For the first time in 15 years, Syria made an appearance on the global tourism stage. Thanks to Wayz GmbH, the country’s participation in ITB Berlin 2026 was successfully organised in record time, from planning through to execution. The stand was situated in a prominent location and, thanks to a smart layout and high-quality design, cut a fine figure even in this competitive environment. The centrepiece was a 24-square-metre LED wall, alongside an open reception area for the minister. Even after the official close of the fair, the stand remained besieged by an interested trade audience – a fantastic comeback for Syria as a tourist destination.
