In 2026, not only did McDonald’s return as an exhibitor to the joint stand of the BVE and the German Food Industry, but Friedrich Merz also returned as Chancellor to visit the stand. A packed programme featuring plenty of infotainment, with daily rotating partners ranging from Coca-Cola, Mondelez, Capri-Sun and Ferrero to Nestlé, as well as numerous ministers and officials, brought the stand to life. The anniversary Green Week marking the 100th anniversary was a resounding success for the associations. The well-organised joint stand supported the event as always with great efficiency through its architecture and visual design.
